Rep. Sanders Recognized by Agriculture Industry

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma Farm Bureau (OKFB) recently recognized state Rep. Mike Sanders in its first annual “100 Percent Club” for his track record of voting in favor of legislation supported by OKFB during the 2013 legislative session.

The OKFB released its annual legislative scorecard in July. The scorecard reflects how legislators vote on bills and resolutions that would benefit the state’s agriculture industry.

“We live in an agriculture state, and I am proud of my voting record on legislation that benefits our hardworking farmers and ranchers,” said Sanders, R-Kingfisher. “As a rural state representative, I understand the challenges that come up for my constituents who make their living off the land and provide food and products for the rest of the nation. I will continue to support legislation that helps them face those challenges.”

Rep. Mike Sanders received his award at the State Farm Bureau Convention this past week.
